Stihl SH86C-E Petrol Blower & Vacuum Shredder: The Stihl SH86C-E is a new vacuum shredder that can also be converted into a blower. Its new ERGOSTART starting system makes starting even simpler. Standard equipment includes vacuum unit and round nozzle. The SH86C-E has a robust rotor blade of special steel as a standard feature to shred the collected material. This can be converted into a powerful blower without difficulty.

This is the more powerful cousin of the Stihl SH56C-E (see below) but for a variety of reasons represents even better value for money - the SH86 CE offers as standard the cruise control system which saves your fingers from aching holding the trigger down constantly, the rubber anti-vibration handle which is great for comfort and ease of use (details below), and you also get the flat nozzle which is essential for stubborn wet leaves. Perhaps most importantly, you get extra power, as the Stihl BG86 C-E has almost 25% more blowing power and 10% more suction. For less than £30 more than the SH56-CE, there really is no choice in terms of value for money and it is for this reason that we sell a lot more of the SH86-CE.

Perhaps the SH86C-E's greatest innovation is its truly incredible anti-vibration system; the machine's core moves flexibly within the outer casing and handle in a way that absorbs the vibration before it gets to your hand.
