The SB-52RD from Turfmaster is an excellent entry point broadcast spreader. It assembles in 10 minutes or less and is really easy to use.

The ideal way to cheaply, quickly and easily spread seed/fertiliser/salt- this is a broadcast spreader which disperses the salt/grit (or indeed seed/fertiliser as it is primarily intended for) widely (8-10 feet) rather than simply dropping it within the width of the spreader, saving time and avoiding the possibility of blockage!
