The Hayter Heritage 1330 has a micro-switch at the rear which must be pressed down at all times in order for the blades to operate; normally it is the grassbox which does this job, meaning that you have no option but to use the grassbox if you want to mow the grass. The deflector chute however, does the job of the grassbox in pressing down on the micro-switch, enabling you to mow freely without the hassle of regularly emptying a grassbox. This is particularly useful in large, open areas such as a paddock or large lawn where grass collection is unnecessary and time-consuming.

The deflector chute secures quickly and easily to the rear of your tractor and safely directs all cuttings straight downwards on their exit from the rear of the machine, preventing the cut grass and whatever else may have passed through the blades from being flung into the air behind you.
