We are pleased to offer you a huge selection of machinery from all major manufacturers at extremely competitive prices.

All prices include VAT at 20%.

All 4 stroke petrol machines will be sent out with a free bottle of engine oil. 2 stroke machines with a 1 shot 2/s oil.

We have been established as a specialist garden machinery retailer since 1986, providing an excellent after sales service to customers in the west of England. The business has been built with a combination of top quality product and expert, personal service.

We provide a secure payment environment for you, the customer, via SagePay.

If you wish you may register as a customer before purchasing online - this involves filling out shipping address and contact information to save you the trouble of filling all this out every time you want to buy. If you prefer not to register you can simply go straight to the checkout.

Terms and Conditions

This website is aimed solely at users who access it from the UK mainland and Ireland. Delivery is FREE to UK Mainland addresses with the exception of the Highland and Island postcodes listed in the 'delivery' section of our site. We can also deliver to Northern Ireland and Ireland with prior contact by email or phone - 0117 9822335.

As a user you acknowledge your use of this website and any purchase of products is subject to the terms and conditions listed below.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase on www.agmonline.co.uk is designed to be easy for you. Simply selct add to basket on the product/ products you wish to purchase, then click on the basket. You will be asked for a few relevant details, which will help us complete your order quickly and efficiently. 

Payment Options

We accept a wide range of UK debit and credit cards, such as Mastercard, Visa, Visa debit and Maestro. We are happy to accept cheques made payable to Avon Garden Machinery and we can also accept payment made by bank transfer, please email sales@agmonline.co.uk for details.

Processing your order

We strive to ensure that every customer receives great customer service when you order from us and we are meticulous about processing an order, becuase it protects both ourselves and you. We aim to be clear and transparent, so that you know the status of your order at all times.

When you receive your order confirmation email this is purely and simply to indicate that we have received your order, not to indicate that a contract exists between us yet. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and create a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.

We have included this term because it protects us if a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.

Cancellations and Returns

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before delivery. If you wish to do so you can contact us by phone on 0117 9822335 or by email to sales@agmonline.co.uk.

AGMOnline operates a 30 day money back gaurentee (from date of delivery) on any product displayed on this website, please contact sales@agmonline.co.uk or write to us at the address below, as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA). This means you now have longer to make your mind up about your purchases and don't have to feel rushed.

How returning your product works

Unfortunately we do have to charge for delivery unless the item was received in error or defective. So we do ask that you pay for the cost of sending it back. We are happy to arrange for your product to be collected, if you would rather not do it yourself, we will keep our charges as low and as fair as possible, we do not seek to profit from any returned items.

Of course if your product is defective or delivered in error we are happy to cover the cost.

If a product has been returned during the 30 day cooling off period the amount of refund will depend on the item's conditon, amount of use and any damage from use, cosmetic or otherwise.

We ask that all returned items come back to us in their original packaging. If they are not and other packaging and collection services are required you must pay any additional costs. 

We issue refunds as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after agreeing to refund you, providing the goods are returned to us. You are responsible for the condition of the product until we collect it or you return to us.

All products carry manufacturer’s warranties that provide you with extra protection beyond the 30 day mone back gaurentee we offer you.

Warranty covers any manufacturing fault that develops during the gaurentee period, excluding wear and tear and mis-use. Unless otherwise stated all warranty periods shown are for domestic use only and customers should be aware that use of a product in a commercial environment will normally result in a vastly reduced warranty period or in some cases no warranty at all.

All warranty periods vary depending on the type of machine, the manufacturer and other variables, some lawnmowers even have a differing warranty period for the engine and the machine. Some warranties are subject to annual servicing and other can be extended if you have an annual service, please check your manual, if you unsure please contact us at sales@agmonline.co.uk

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and may be conditional on the product being serviced at the recommended intervals by an approved dealer.

How to get your machine inspected and fixed

Every manufacturer that we deal with operates a Nationwide warranty and repair network. If you have an issue with your product outside of our 30 day cooling off period, please visit the relevant manufacturer's website for details of your nearest warranty and repair agent. We are happy to pass on any relevant details such as your nearest dealer, manufacturer contact details when requested, please email sales@agmonline.co.uk 

The vast majority of manufacturers do not cover transportation costs for taking or transporting your product for any warranty work and as such any costs will be the responsibility of the customer. 

Once the product has been taken to an authorised repair agent, be that ourselves or another delaer it will be inspected and a fully trained engineer will determine the cause of the fault and if it is covered under the terms of the warranty.

We are also happy to carry out any warranty work on machines that we sell and for any customers in our local area, but as stated above all costs to transport the product to and from ourselves will be the responsibility of the customer.

From time to time we are sent a machine for warranty work and the issue is not covered by the warranty, these can include the drive belt slipping off the pulley, over filling oil and putting stale petrol in to a machine, in these cases and any other fault not covered under the terms of the warranty we reserve the right to recover all costs for labour, parts, transportation, etc from the customer.

Details required as part of the payment process for security and validation checks will be passed to SagePay.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now U K law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

AGM Online are obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when you buy from us a new Electrical or Electronic product.

For example, if a customer bought a new EEE item from us we would accept their old WEEE item and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:


Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
